About Tatvivah Trends

Tatvivah Trends is a multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace that connects customers with independent sellers offering ethical, sustainable, and culturally inspired fashion and lifestyle products. Tatvivah Trends does not take ownership of inventory and acts solely as a facilitator between buyers and sellers.

Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years of age to register or make purchases.
  • By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable Indian laws.

User Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • All activities conducted through your account are your responsibility.
  • Tatvivah Trends reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for suspicious, fraudulent, or abusive activity.

Vendor Participation

Vendor Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete product information.
  • Ensure that products comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Uphold ethical sourcing, fair labor practices, and sustainability standards.
  • Fulfill orders promptly and maintain quality standards.
  • Handle returns, refunds, and customer service in accordance with platform policies.

Prohibited Products

  • Counterfeit or illegal items.
  • Products that infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Hazardous or restricted goods under Indian law.
  • Any items that violate ethical or sustainability standards.

Commission and Fees

  • Tatvivah Trends may charge vendors a commission or service fee for each sale.
  • Fees and payment terms will be outlined in a separate Vendor Agreement.

Product Listings and Pricing

  • Product descriptions, pricing, and availability are the sole responsibility of the vendors.
  • Tatvivah Trends does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of product information.
  • Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive or exclusive of taxes as specified.
  • Product color, texture, and appearance may slightly vary due to lighting, photography, or screen settings.
  • Handmade or artisanal products may have slight variations and are not considered defects.
  • Customers are advised to refer to size charts provided by vendors. Tatvivah Trends shall not be responsible for size mismatches.

Orders and Payments

  • By placing an order, you agree to purchase the selected products subject to availability.
  • Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
  • Tatvivah Trends shall not be liable for failed transactions, payment gateway errors, unauthorized transactions, duplicate charges, or chargebacks arising due to third-party payment providers.
  • Tatvivah Trends reserves the right to cancel orders in case of pricing or listing errors.

Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping timelines and charges are determined by individual vendors.
  • While Tatvivah Trends facilitates logistics, delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon successful delivery confirmation.

Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

  • Return and refund policies may vary by vendor but must comply with Tatvivah Trends’ minimum standards.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after approval.
  • Orders may be cancelled before shipment; post-shipment cancellations will be treated as returns.

Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, and design elements, is the property of Tatvivah Trends or its licensors.
  • Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content is strictly prohibited.
  • Vendors retain ownership of their product images and descriptions but grant Tatvivah Trends a non-exclusive license to use them for promotional purposes.

Ethical and Sustainability Commitment

  • Tatvivah Trends promotes fair trade and ethical sourcing.
  • The Platform promotes environmentally sustainable materials and respect for traditional artisans and craftsmanship.
  • Vendors found violating these principles may be removed from the Platform.

Prohibited Activities

  • Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive practices.
  • Uploading harmful or malicious content.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
  • Violating any applicable local, national, or international laws.

Limitation of Liability

  • Tatvivah Trends acts solely as a marketplace intermediary and is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of products sold by vendors.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tatvivah Trends shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

Indemnification

Users and vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tatvivah Trends, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their breach of these Terms or violation of applicable laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

All products and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Privacy

  • Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
  • We may use third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics or advertising platforms for marketing and performance tracking.

Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. Tatvivah Trends is not responsible for the content or practices of such external sites.

Termination

Tatvivah Trends reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform for any user or vendor who violates these Terms, without prior notice.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
  • Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Amendments

Tatvivah Trends reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Force Majeure

Tatvivah Trends shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, governmental actions, or technical failures including internet failures, platform downtime, or cyber incidents.

Tatvivah Trends does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform and shall not be liable for any temporary unavailability due to maintenance, technical issues, or system failures.
